Can you imagine those warm summer mornings when the sun warms you up and you don't need anything else? We know what else you need and we've got something you need - it's a magical sunrise with and on SUP boards with breakfast coffee in the bog.
It's a calm morning, you're quietly and leisurely gliding across the lake's surface with the feeling that you're on the set of "Blizzard of Souls," because there's a mysterious and pleasant vibe around, crane calls echo in the distance, moose are bellowing somewhere, and through the misty white fog banks, a bright sun rises. It's an amazingly powerful life energy, and you're here and now, in this magical bog fairy tale, to experience, to recharge for the rest of the day.
Why go to the bog with us? The bog is special, and even more special are the sunrises in the bog, so we don't go to the bog every day with the daily conveyor and crowds of people, but only a few times a year when it's the perfect and cool time to enjoy—in small, friendly, and cool groups. Plus, we don't make our clients carry SUP boards; they'll be waiting for you at the destination. Yes, you WON'T HAVE TO HAUL 15KG SUP BOARDS more than 2km to the bog lake in each direction. We'll transport them to the SUP spot for you and inflate them as well. Additionally, we'll have breakfast snacks and a warm drink organized for you. And that's exactly why we invite you to experience an unforgettable sunrise with us.
No one to go with? Often you want to head out for some active fun, but there's no one to join you—friends have other plans, family is busy, and your partner isn't really into it. So feel free to join solo. In our Adventures, you won't feel alone because everyone's on the same path, giving you the chance to have a great time not only in nature but also meeting new people.

RigaCenas Bog
You arrive at the Adventure with your car or with a group buddy. Once the car is parked (see location on map), you can head out on a ~30min & 2km walk to the SUP meeting spot (see location on map) where pumped-up SUP boards and the lively group leader are waiting for you. We meet here an hour before sunrise, and since the sun rises at different times every day, you'll see the exact time for your chosen date below. Before we head into the bog, the group leader gives a brief but valuable briefing on SUPing and water safety. Sleepiness is gone, and we're off on the sunrise Adventure. If you're thinking, I don't know how to SUP, I've never done it, and I won't succeed, then you definitely should come and try – we guarantee you'll succeed. You can confidently sign up and join the Adventure, even if you haven't managed to get on a SUP board before. The bog lake is the perfect place to start enjoying SUPing because the water is calm and smooth as a mirror. And also pleasant if you decide to take a swim... but seriously, if you follow everything the leader says and follow the instructions, it's impossible to fall in unexpectedly.
Once the SUP is harnessed, and your paddling skills feel Olympic-medal-worthy, the sun starts peeking out, and here it is, "Sunrise in the Bog". We'll snap beautiful photos, so Instagram floods with comments like "WOW, so beautiful", "I want to come too, take me next time," and then we'll have breakfast right there in the bog, because after the early morning session and all the SUP activities, you'll want a snack, so it's the perfect time for a warm drink and a treat to recharge for the return trip and the new day!
After about 1.5h on the water, the Adventure is over, and it's time to move on to the day's Adventures, so plan for this time spent on the Adventure + the time you'll spend getting back from it. This event ends quite early in the morning, so you'll still have time to make it to work in Riga and its surroundings.

What do you need to bring? Weather-appropriate clothing that allows you to move freely and is comfortable. Extra spare clothes to change into in case you get wet.

The plan is just a rough outline and there might be changes, but overall it will be as described above.
We meet at the pre-arranged place and time. You arrive on time, dressed or ready for SUP'ing with activity-appropriate clothing, and at the spot, the group leader is already waiting for you with fully equipped SUP gear. You don't have to carry or pump anything yourself - everything is ready for your SUP activity, and with each other's support, we hop on the SUP boards to start our mini Adventure. There's no specific route, and the SUP area is limited, so you don't have to stick with the group leader or other participants, but you can enjoy the surroundings on your own (if you wish). At the pre-agreed time, we head to the shore, and the SUP Adventure is over. The group leader will take care of the SUP gear and pack it up, as well as transport it. No carrying SUPs for miles and no packing - you came, enjoyed the Adventure, and move on with your daily routine ;)
1 / 9The leader of this Adventure group and your fellow Adventure creator, Raimonds, will be joining you. This means you'll have a hand to hold when climbing a mountain, a shoulder to lean on before a scarier activity, or a buddy to hit up local parties with. Those who've been on an Adventure with him before know you'll go where you probably shouldn't go, do what you probably shouldn't do, and it'll be great - it'll be ADVENTURES.
This Adventure isn't for comfort lovers or those who can't step out of their comfort zone. Just a heads up, so you don't end up telling all sorts of nonsense later. This isn't a holiday for sleeping in; it's a holiday for having fun and a great time.

The SUP Adventure is meant for everyone - both those who paddle with a SUP board from morning till night, and those who've never done it before. We'll show, explain, and teach everything.
CLOTHING - You'll definitely need weather-appropriate and event-appropriate clothing. Dressing for the weather means checking the forecast the day before the event and preparing your outfit accordingly. If it's raining, wear something that protects you from the rain, but if the sun is shining, make sure you're not too hot or cold, etc. Make sure you're comfortable. Also, remember a change of clothes, as this Adventure happens on water and you might get your clothes wet. In short, the clothing list might look like this: clothes for water activities which in warm weather means a swimsuit/swim trunks, in cold weather long pants (ideally with waterproof pants on top), a sweater/jacket, appropriate footwear, and a towel will come in handy. Then clothes for when a gust of wind hits and spare clothes for after the event (in case of an unexpected swim). And it's important to be prepared for rain with a rain jacket, because you never know.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS - mosquito repellent (if it's "mosquito season"), sunscreen (if sunny weather is expected), etc.
We care about the quality and safety of this Adventure, so it will only happen in weather conditions suitable for this Adventure. Whether the weather is suitable is determined by the Adventure group leader, not any of the participants or their friends. In case of cancellation, we will inform you no later than 12 hours in advance (before the start of the Adventure). If canceled, you can reschedule your participation to another preferred date for this Adventure or even an Adventure with equivalent costs, but only if we cancel the event, not if a participant decides to cancel it themselves.
Getting to this event is with your own personal transport. If you don't have personal transport, we'll try to organize a carpool with another group member for you.
You can definitely join by yourself. On the contrary, many people go solo and in that case, you'll have the chance to meet new friends or maybe even find your other half 😉
You can definitely join us with your own SUP board, in that case, the Adventure price will be 15EUR, but drop us a private message so we can sort out the details.
You can sign up for the trip on our website by clicking the "SIGN UP" button and filling out the application form located under the Adventure description. Since there are many interested, but not all are actual travelers, an advance payment is required to confirm participation in the Adventure. The amount of the advance payment depends on the specific Adventure. By paying this advance, your spot in the Adventure is confirmed. If you cancel your participation in the Adventure, the advance payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to confirm participation in another trip.
After signing up, mark and reserve these dates for yourself, and slowly start preparing. The day before the Adventure start date, but no later than 6:00 PM, you'll receive an informational email with the exact meeting place, time, and other important "what / where / when" info regarding this Adventure.
You can think about it as long as there are spots available. After that, you can keep thinking, but there won't be any spots left on the trip.
The trip's vibe and awesomeness largely depend on the travelers themselves, so if you like to stir up trouble or "mess with the minds" of the organizers and other trip participants, then this trip isn't for you. We've had a couple of grumpy ladies before who annoyed everyone, so if you can't control your mood – DON'T COME! The group leader is ALWAYS right (even if they're not), so if you've decided to join, you'll have to listen to them.

Since we receive A LOT of applications but not all turn into actual bookings, your spot is only confirmed and reserved after the deposit is paid.

The entry fee for this fantastic Adventure is 45 EUR. As the event date approaches, the price might go up and the number of spots is VERY limited, so don't wait until the last minute to sign up 😉
