A warm summer evening, you’re sitting on a SUP board, legs dangling over the edge into the warm bog lake, and you’re soaking it all up on a SUP board at sunset. This is your magical evening in the bog. You can enjoy it with your awesome group mates or find some beautiful, slightly secluded little spot to enjoy it solo or just the two of you.
The lake mirrors everything around you, the air smells softly of summer, and for a moment the whole world goes super quiet. Only the bog is breathing, and the sun slowly paints the water gold - the evening show of the sun has begun. No need to rush, no need to think about what time it is — you just sit, enjoy, and realize this is one of THOSE summer evenings.
Why go to the bog with us? The bog is special, and even more special are the sunsets there, which is why we don't head to the bog every day with a conveyor belt of people, but only a few times a year when it's the perfect and coolest time to enjoy it—in small, friendly, and fun groups. Plus, we don't make our clients carry SUP boards; they'll be waiting for you at the destination. Yes, you WON'T HAVE TO HAUL 15KG SUP BOARDS more than 2km to the bog lake in each direction. We'll do everything for you—transport the boards to the SUP spot, inflate them, and collect them after the Adventure. All you have to do is enjoy the Adventure. Additionally, we'll organize picnic snacks for you. So, all you need to do is bring your favorite drink and join us for an unforgettable sunset experience.
No one to go with? Often you want to head out for some active fun, but there's no one to join you—friends have other plans, family is busy, and your partner isn't really into it. So feel free to join solo. In our Adventures, you won't feel alone because everyone's on the same path, giving you the chance to have a great time not only in nature but also meeting new people.

RigaCenas Bog
You arrive at the Adventure with your car or with a group buddy. Once the car is parked (see location on map), you can head on a ~30min & 2km walk to the SUP meeting point (see location on map) where pumped-up SUP boards and your group leader are already waiting for you. We meet here an hour before sunset, and since the sun sets at a different time each day, you'll see the exact time for your chosen date below. Before heading into the swamp, the group leader gives a brief but valuable briefing on SUPing and water safety. The day's fatigue has passed, and we're off to the sunset Adventure. If you think, "I can't SUP, I've never done it, and I won't manage," then you should definitely come and try – we guarantee you'll succeed. You can confidently sign up and join the Adventure, even if you haven't managed to step on a SUP board yet. The swamp lake is the perfect place to start enjoying SUPing because the water is calm and smooth as a mirror. And it's pleasant if you decide to take a swim... but seriously, following everything the leader says and following the instructions, it's impossible to fall in unexpectedly.
Once the SUP is harnessed, and your paddling skills feel like you could win an Olympic medal, the sun starts peeking out, and here it is, "Sunset in the Swamp". We'll snap beautiful photos, so Instagram floods with comments like "WOW, so beautiful", "I want to join next time, take me along," and then we'll have snacks right there in the swamp, because after a day of mischief and all the SUP activities, you'll want a bite, so it's the perfect time for a refreshing drink and a snack to replenish energy reserves for the journey back and the evening ahead!
After about 1.5h on the water, the Adventure is over, and it's time to move on to the day's Adventures, so keep in mind the time spent on this Adventure + the time you'll spend getting back from it.

The plan is just a rough outline and there might be changes, but overall it will be as described above.
We meet at the pre-arranged place and time. You arrive on time, dressed or ready for SUP'ing with activity-appropriate clothing, and at the spot, the group leader is already waiting for you with fully equipped SUP gear. You don't have to carry or pump anything yourself - everything is ready for your SUP activity, and with each other's support, we hop on the SUP boards to start our mini Adventure. There's no specific route, and the SUP area is limited, so you don't have to stick with the group leader or other participants, but you can enjoy the surroundings on your own (if you wish). At the pre-agreed time, we head to the shore, and the SUP Adventure is over. The group leader will take care of the SUP gear and pack it up, as well as transport it. No carrying SUPs for miles and no packing - you came, enjoyed the Adventure, and move on with your daily routine ;)
1 / 9The leader of this Adventure group and your fellow Adventure creator, Raimonds, will be joining you. This means you'll have a hand to hold when climbing a mountain, a shoulder to lean on before a scarier activity, or a buddy to hit up local parties with. Those who've been on an Adventure with him before know you'll go where you probably shouldn't go, do what you probably shouldn't do, and it'll be great - it'll be ADVENTURES.
This Adventure isn't for comfort lovers or those who can't step out of their comfort zone. Just a heads up, so you don't end up telling all sorts of nonsense later. This isn't a holiday for sleeping in; it's a holiday for having fun and a great time.

The SUP Adventure is meant for everyone - both those who paddle with a SUP board from morning till night, and those who've never done it before. We'll show, explain, and teach everything.
CLOTHING - You'll definitely need weather-appropriate and event-appropriate clothing. Dressing for the weather means checking the forecast the day before the event and preparing your outfit accordingly. If it's raining, wear something that protects you from the rain, but if the sun is shining, make sure you're not too hot or cold, etc. Make sure you're comfortable. Also, remember a change of clothes, as this Adventure happens on water and you might get your clothes wet. In short, the clothing list might look like this: clothes for water activities which in warm weather means a swimsuit/swim trunks, in cold weather long pants (ideally with waterproof pants on top), a sweater/jacket, appropriate footwear, and a towel will come in handy. Then clothes for when a gust of wind hits and spare clothes for after the event (in case of an unexpected swim). And it's important to be prepared for rain with a rain jacket, because you never know.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS - mosquito repellent (if it's "mosquito season"), sunscreen (if sunny weather is expected), etc.
We care about the quality and safety of this Adventure, so it will only happen in weather conditions suitable for this Adventure. Whether the weather is suitable is determined by the Adventure group leader, not any of the participants or their friends. In case of cancellation, we will inform you no later than 12 hours in advance (before the start of the Adventure). If canceled, you can reschedule your participation to another preferred date for this Adventure or even an Adventure with equivalent costs, but only if we cancel the event, not if a participant decides to cancel it themselves.
Getting to this event is with your own personal transport. If you don't have personal transport, we'll try to organize a carpool with another group member for you.
You can definitely join by yourself. On the contrary, many people go solo and in that case, you'll have the chance to meet new friends or maybe even find your other half 😉
You can definitely join us with your own SUP board, in that case, the Adventure price will be 15EUR, but drop us a private message so we can sort out the details.
You can sign up for the trip on our website by clicking the "SIGN UP" button and filling out the application form located under the Adventure description. Since there are many interested, but not all are actual travelers, an advance payment is required to confirm participation in the Adventure. The amount of the advance payment depends on the specific Adventure. By paying this advance, your spot in the Adventure is confirmed. If you cancel your participation in the Adventure, the advance payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to confirm participation in another trip.
After signing up, mark and reserve these dates for yourself, and slowly start preparing. The day before the Adventure start date, but no later than 6:00 PM, you'll receive an informational email with the exact meeting place, time, and other important "what / where / when" info regarding this Adventure.
You can think about it as long as there are spots available. After that, you can keep thinking, but there won't be any spots left on the trip.
The trip's vibe and awesomeness largely depend on the travelers themselves, so if you like to stir up trouble or "mess with the minds" of the organizers and other trip participants, then this trip isn't for you. We've had a couple of grumpy ladies before who annoyed everyone, so if you can't control your mood – DON'T COME! The group leader is ALWAYS right (even if they're not), so if you've decided to join, you'll have to listen to them.

Since we receive A LOT of applications but not all turn into actual bookings, your spot is only confirmed and reserved after the deposit is paid.

The entry fee for this fantastic Adventure is 45 EUR. As the event date approaches, the price might go up and the number of spots is VERY limited, so don't wait until the last minute to sign up 😉
