You can enjoy summer fun in Riga even on weekday evenings, so we offer a short but adventure-filled ride on electric bikes right near the center of Riga. This is an e-bike afternoon where we'll enjoy active relaxation on a weekday evening after work along an interesting and exciting route.
This afternoon's route will take us through Zaķusala and Lusavsala. Sometimes through places where even many locals haven't set foot, let alone cruised through the paths and off-roads on a bike. For about 2 hours and 15km, we'll ride through the city's "secret corners," a bit through the jungle (okay, bushes) and even a little off-road – where the path has long gone on vacation and where there won't be a path at all, but that's what Adventure is all about. This will be a chance to see Riga from a completely different perspective – between river bends, green thickets, and new city skyline views.
The adventure mixes in everything you could wish for after work – fresh air, movement, new experiences, and maybe even a new friend or acquaintance. Will it be hard? No, because we'll have e-bikes. Will it be cool? Yes, because we'll have e-bikes. Perfect for wrapping up the day after work or if you want to have a great time with friends, your loved one, or even solo.
No one to go with? Often you want to head out for some active fun, but there's no one to join you—friends have other plans, family is busy, and your partner isn't really into it. So feel free to join solo. In our Adventures, you won't feel alone because everyone's on the same path, giving you the chance to have a great time not only in nature but also meeting new people.

Meet at 19:00 at the meeting point Aagenosta (Google map / Waze). You can walk here, roll up on a scooter, drive your car, or take public transport. Your choice for the most convenient way to get here. Once everyone’s here and we’ve given the latecomers a generous 2-minute wait, we’re good to go. After a quick but SUPER useful briefing, we’re ready to hop on our electric steeds and ride through Riga or hit the road.
We pedal, enjoy, learn something new, and hear some familiar facts. The adventure is amazing, and seeing these often-visited places from totally different angles is insanely cool. Sometimes you think: "Is this really our Riga?", "Am I really in the center of Riga?".
Around 21:00 and after covering ~15km, it’s time to wrap up. We’ve cruised around Zaķusala and Lucavsala, made photo stops with Riga from a different angle, and peeked into unseen spots of Riga. The weekday adventure is over, and we’ve grabbed some new vibes.
The plan is just a rough outline and there might be changes, but overall it will be as described above.
Our e-bike is an electric mountain (MTB) bike, specially designed and perfect for riding both on roads and smaller paths and forest trails. It's equipped with everything you need to make your holidays enjoyable in every possible way. We've heard the myth that it's for lazy people and not that great, but it's quite the opposite. It's an INSANELY good thing, and once you try it, you won't want to get back on your regular bike. The bike won't ride for you; you have to pedal and ride just like a regular bike, but it makes pedaling easier when needed. You can especially appreciate it when there's an uphill, as you can "easily" pedal up the hill and continue enjoying the ride. Riding an e-bike is MUCH more enjoyable. Not convinced? Imagine riding on a super cool road, and there's a hill ahead, but you don't care at all because the e-bike motor helps you pedal up the hill just like you'd ride down a small hill. IT'S FANTASTIC!!!
1 / 9The leader of this Adventure group and your fellow Adventure creator, Raimonds, will be joining you. This means you'll have a hand to hold when climbing a mountain, a shoulder to lean on before a scarier activity, or a buddy to hit up local parties with. Those who've been on an Adventure with him before know you'll go where you probably shouldn't go, do what you probably shouldn't do, and it'll be great - it'll be ADVENTURES.
If you're inclined to whine and be grumpy about little things, then this won't be the right Adventure, as it spoils both the group's microclimate and the mood of other group members. That's why we want to see positive adventurers on our Adventures. The group leader won't "babysit" the picky folks but will simply ignore them to focus on those who want to enjoy the Adventure. The group is small, which usually turns into a very friendly company, so it's not the right place for those who want to "pick fights."
It depends on the rider's weight and riding style. A heavier rider requires more power from the bike motor, which means the battery will drain faster, and the same goes for riding aggressively with maximum motor assistance. On average, you can cover 35-45km on a single charge. In Eco or economic mode, it can even be 60-70km.
If the e-bike's battery runs out, you can still keep riding by pedaling on your own, just like with a regular bike. The only thing is, the bike itself is a bit heavier than a regular one, so the ride might feel a bit tougher.
Our electric bike is specially designed for riding on not-so-suitable roads and off-roads. Rain won't bother it either.
We have men's and women's bicycles available. Each of them has restrictions. For example, weight limit. The maximum allowable weight is 95kg for men and 85kg for women, so if you weigh more than this limit 95kg (men's) or 85kg (women's), unfortunately, you won't be able to participate in our bike holiday Adventure. There is no minimum weight limit. The second restriction is height. Our bikes are suitable for riders with a height range of 155-195cm. This means if you're shorter than 155cm or taller than 195cm, our e-bikes won't fit you, and unfortunately, you won't be able to participate in our bike holiday Adventure. The third and most important thing is that you MUST know how to ride a bike. Yes, seriously, because we've had cases where participants sign up for the bike Adventure who don't know how to ride a bike or feel unstable on it.
Our e-bikes have height restrictions, so the rider's height is primarily important, but the minimum participant age is 14 years. If you're thinking of joining as a family with kids, make sure your kids really want to do this, because it's a group ride and other participants shouldn't have to suffer if some kid gets bored.
You can sign up for the trip on our website by clicking the "SIGN UP" button and filling out the application form located under the Adventure description. Since there are many interested, but not all are actual travelers, an advance payment is required to confirm participation in the Adventure. The amount of the advance payment depends on the specific Adventure. By paying this advance, your spot in the Adventure is confirmed. If you cancel your participation in the Adventure, the advance payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to confirm participation in another trip.
You can think about it as long as there are spots available. After that, you can keep thinking, but there won't be any spots left on the trip.
The trip's vibe and awesomeness largely depend on the travelers themselves, so if you like to stir up trouble or "mess with the minds" of the organizers and other trip participants, then this trip isn't for you. We've had a couple of grumpy ladies before who annoyed everyone, so if you can't control your mood – DON'T COME! The group leader is ALWAYS right (even if they're not), so if you've decided to join, you'll have to listen to them.

Since we receive A LOT of applications but not all turn into actual bookings, your spot is only confirmed and reserved after the deposit is paid.

The participation fee for this fantastic afternoon Adventure is 40 EUR. As the event date approaches, the price might get higher and the number of spots is VERY limited, so don't put off signing up until the last minute 😉
