What is it?

Endless chats on a dating app. Then finally you go on a Tinder date with the most promising one and realize it's totally not a match. Online it seemed like you had a lot in common, but turns out - he's got a wife or she's got a husband, and they don't even like cycling, just sitting by the TV with a beer and chips - another waste of time, so you delete yourself from that stupid Tinder. Until, after some time, the app boomerangs back onto your phone, giving it the tenth chance - you fill out the profile, expand the radius to catch some fresh meat, upload prettier pictures, and the vicious cycle returns. You're back on Tinder, only to delete yourself again after countless dates and start all over.

That's why we have an offer for active free spirits to meet up at an active event in nature. We'll be free guys and free girls in the age range of 25 to 40, spending the weekend actively engaging in various tasks outdoors during the day, and in the evening enjoying a sauna, hot tub, and a roof over our heads, along with a little party among ourselves. Even if you don't find your other half at this event, you'll have spent the weekend actively with awesome people and gained a dozen good friends.

3reasons to join:

  1. Chance to find your great love of a lifetime
  2. Active holidays in nature
  3. Almost a dozen new friends

What is the rough plan?

  • 1. diena

We start gathering and meeting up (approximately at 12:00) at the event location - this is our base for activities throughout the day, so we settle in and dive into Adventures. Various get-to-know-you activities in nature, but no - you won't have to pass something in a plastic cup, climb over someone's feet, make barrels or other silly nonsense. Instead, we've planned cool stuff where you'll ride e-bikes, go hiking, light a campfire, climb a hill, try cooking something, and other exciting things. You'll not only have the chance to meet people but also have a super fun time. After activities that take 4-5 hours, we'll enjoy a laid-back evening cooking soup over the fire, going to the sauna, soaking in the hot tub, and having a great time in our cozy cabin with a local party. It's cool, it's fun, and that's why sleep is postponed for several hours. Someone disappears into the darkness, someone else chills out, but the first day has passed.

    12:00–10:00
  • 2. diena

Get up, have breakfast, and around 10:00 we each go about our daily routines. There are new acquaintances, new friends, and a basis for continuation.

    12:00–10:00
  • The plan is just a rough outline and there might be changes, but overall it will be as described above.

Where we'll dine and sleep

Our base for this active Tinder Adventure will be Ozolkalns near Cēsis. A fantastic spot in nature, away from the city crowds. We'll have a small cabin for dining, a few extra cabins for sleeping, as well as a sauna and hot tub. The cabin is equipped with rooms and a space with laid-out cool mattresses, so you'll have a soft spot to catch your breath after a full day or chill after a great evening.

What else should I know?

This Adventure is meant for people who are free from relationships. If you're in a relationship and looking for a lover, you won't be able to participate in this Adventure, so keep walking. Just like this Adventure is only for those who fit within our specified age limits. If you're outside of them, there might be a similar event for your age range.

The adventure isn't extremely difficult, but it's not a stroll through Old Riga either. We won't be climbing cliffs or walking 100km a day, but since we'll be constantly moving "forward," you should be able to carry your travel bag without whining and dissatisfaction.

This Adventure is not for comfort lovers and those who can't step out of their comfort zone. We warn you, so you don't end up telling all sorts of nonsense publicly. Just like we sit in the evenings with a stronger drink, but that doesn't mean you have to do it too - just understand us and don't call us unpleasant names afterwards. These aren't holidays to sleep in, these are holidays to have fun and a great time.

We also recommend checking out the frequently asked questions.

Frequently asked questions:

  • 1. What do I need to bring?

The most important thing is to have an amazing spirit and the desire to have a great time. Everything else is secondary - we will be staying in a cabin with beds and beautifully made-up soft mattresses with provided bedding (pillow, sheet, blanket), so you won't have to worry about that. You will need clothing suitable for hiking and the weather. No special hiking gear is required, but definitely something sporty so you feel free and comfortable on the hike. For the hike, bring a small backpack to pack your sandwiches, tea, water, and maybe a little balm for warmth. There's also a sauna planned, so a towel and swimsuit will come in handy. And of course, something to eat for dinner.

  • 2. How do we get to the Adventure and back?

Getting to the Adventure start is with your own private transport. If you don't have your own private transport, it's possible to team up and go with other participants of this event. Before the Adventure, we'll try to organize and help so those who drive with their own transport can pick up those who don't, as this way it's possible to share fuel costs (win-win). If this option doesn't suit you, it's possible to go by public transport.

  • 3. How to sign up for an Adventure?

You can sign up for the trip on our website by clicking the "SIGN UP" button and filling out the application form located under the Adventure description. Since there are many interested, but not all are actual travelers, an advance payment is required to confirm participation in the Adventure. The amount of the advance payment depends on the specific Adventure. By paying this advance, your spot in the Adventure is confirmed. If you cancel your participation in the Adventure, the advance payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to confirm participation in another trip.

  • 4. Signed up, what's next?

After signing up, note and reserve these dates for yourself, and slowly start preparing. A few days before the Adventure start date, usually at the beginning of that week, but no later than 4-5 days before, you'll receive an informational email with the meeting time and other important "what / where / when" info regarding the Adventure.

  • 5. How long can I think about it if I want to sign up?

You can think about it as long as there are spots available. After that, you can keep thinking, but there won't be any spots left on the trip.

  • 6. How does the contract signing happen?

There's no physical contract signing. When signing up for an Adventure, after filling out the application form and before making the payment, you can check out the Adventure contract and save it if needed. Paying the advance invoice confirms this particular Adventure contract.

  • 7. Is it possible to sign the contract in person?

No, it's not possible, because we VERY often find ourselves on adventures outside of Latvia (check the Adventure list on our website). Occasionally, between Adventures, you can catch us in Cēsis.

  • 8. Is there anything else important?

The trip's vibe and awesomeness largely depend on the travelers themselves, so if you like to stir up trouble or "mess with the minds" of the organizers and other trip participants, then this trip isn't for you. We've had a couple of grumpy ladies before who annoyed everyone, so if you can't control your mood – DON'T COME! The group leader is ALWAYS right (even if they're not), so if you've decided to join, you'll have to listen to them.

Payment terms:

• Deposit payment 40EUR (per person) to reserve your spot upon booking.

• Full remaining payment must be paid no later than 14 days before the adventure start date.

Because we receive VERY many applications, but not all applicants become real travellers, your place is confirmed and reserved only after the deposit is paid.

Age limits:

• Minimum Adventure participant age 25 years.

• Maximum Adventure participant age 40 years.

How much does it cost?

80 €Participation fee

This fantastic mini Adventure participation fee is 80 EUR, which is about as much as you'd spend in a club bar in one night. The price includes everything described below. The number of spots on the trip is VERY limited, so don't wait until the last minute to sign up 😉

The Adventure price includes:

  • 2-day Adventure in Nature
  • Electric bike and other adventure gear rental
  • Overnight stay in a cabin
  • Sauna
  • Campfire soup
  • Adventure planning and plan development
  • Support from the group leader in tough and joyful moments

EXTRA COSTS:

  • Transport to/from the event

* And in addition, the Adventure includes those things that money can't buy – awesome emotions, great company, new friends, a daily dose of laughter, and perfectly spent time.
